District Nurse Darelle Jordan
Nurse Tip
When to Stay Home and How to Come Back
Our mitigation strategies of limiting the number of students who gather in groups, wearing masks and distancing when we can, washing hands, disinfecting environments are working to limit the spread of COVID and keeping our most vulnerable protected. As a smalldistrict with a sense of community, connection and care we are all doing our part and it shows.
With any large endeavor there is always a need to improve and persist. As more and more students join us face to face there are a few details about when to stay home from face to face school and limit contact with others that need to get out to our community both in the school and our broadercommunity of families.
Everyonewho comes into a WISD building must be screened (either at the door or self screeningbefore arrival)
If you answeryes to any screeningquestion pleasestay home
When you stay homecontact the school nurseand attendance clerk
Please stay home if someone in your family has apositiveCOVID test orIs awaiting test results
Everyonewho stays home for symptoms, testing, isolation, quarantine, or awaiting resultsmust check in with the nurse before returning to school
