Principal’s Message
If someone asked you a year ago what the definition of “quarantine” was your answer in all likelihood would have been much different than today’s answer. The same is true if someone had asked for a definition of “education” or “school”.

We’ve been proceeding with this new definition of “school” for several weeks now. The parents I’ve spoken with agree that teachers and students and families have done an extraordinary job in difficult circumstances. However, we may be entering our most challenging stretch yet when it comes to “school”. We’ve got about four more weeks till our calendar says we have completed the school year. However, some children may feel like they’ve been done for awhile. Other students continue to hunger for more academic challenges every day. And both of those extremes are fine because “school” right means finding the best path forward for each individual student and family in the reality they are dealing with in their home.

Patience with this new definition of “school” may be running a little low in households across the Wimberley valley but thank you for hanging in there a few more weeks.

Thanks for taking a look at the Newsletter.
