Principal’s Message
Next Year.
The finish line for this school year is not even in sight yet but we’re already looking ahead to next year. Last night our 8th graders and their parents met at the high school to begin planning for next year. Our 6th and 7th graders have met with our counselor and are thinking about what to take next year. Their selection sheets are due Frday (6th grade) and Monday (7th grade). Cheerleaders are looking at next year too as they practice for and then compete in tryouts on Friday, March 13th. A couple of weeks ago we had 5th graders over here enjoying a band performance and maybe thinking about band for next year.
All of this planning for 2020-2021 is good and necessary but so is living in the moment. And this “moment” called the 2019-2020 school year is still a long way from over. Let’s love it and live it and make the best of it in the classroom and everywhere else while May’s finish line is still just out of our sight.
Thanks for taking a look at the Newsletter.
