Principal’s Message

This Week’s Dress Code
Today some students wore pajamas to school. On Tuesday students will dress up like their favorite decade and there’s no telling what we’ll see. Wednesday we hope they’ll wear their favorite crazy hat and/or socks. Thursday is Texan Spirit Day so we’ll see a bunch of students wearing the Navy Blue, Red and White. We wrap up the week with Twin Day on Friday. Why?

Some schools call it “Red Ribbon” Week or maybe “Take a Stand against Drugs” Week. Whatever name it goes by, schools typically spend a week having a little fun with the dress code and reminding students to stay away from drugs. Of course goofy clothes are not going to keep anyone from trying illegal substances. What will help them with the choices they make is good family support and a friend group that makes those same good decisions. So no matter how our students are dressed today or next week or anytime……..let’s remind them to make positive choices when it comes to vaping, illegal drugs, alcohol or anything else that might harm their future.

Thanks for taking a look at our Newsletter.
