Principal’s Message
We live in wonderful times. We are so blessed to live in a wonderful community, the great state of TEXAS and this free nation in 2019. Never before in history have our children had so many opportunities to be successful and to be whatever they’d like to be later in life. Unfortunately we also live in times that require safety drills at schools. The good news is that our children largely take these in stride and understand that they are in a safe place although we must always prepare for the remote chance of an emergency. We have a fire drill each month of the school year as well as various evacuation drills. This morning (Tuesday, Oct. 15th) we had a lock down drill in conjunction with Hays County Emergency personnel and pardon the pun, our students really do know the drill. We’re proud of how serious nearly every one of our students take these drills.

We think we’ve done a good job of talking to our students about emergency situations. However, if you have a discussion with your child that produces a question you don’t know the answer to, please contact us here at the school and we’ll figure it out together.

Thanks for taking a look at our Newsletter.
