WHS Class of 2020 Offered $2.6 Million in Scholarships

The Wimberley High School Class of 2020 reported scholarship offers totaling nearly $2.65 million. Of that total, $88,650 was offered by the local Wimberley community.
Students received scholarships for academic achievement, athletics, theatre, civic involvement, and for many other activities and honors. A handful of students received scholarship offers that will amount to more than $100,000 each while they are enrolled in college.
Included in the totals of students receiving money for college are six graduates who have reported they will enlist into military service. Seth Kirbo (Navy), Jake Milam (Air Force), Faith Norman (Air Force), Henry Price (Navy), Kaden Richman (Marines), and Niles Varea (Coast Guard) each are in line to receive up to $73,000 in tuition money from the GI Bill.
