UPDATED: Ticket Procedures for Texan Football Home Games

The following procedures will be in place for Wimberley Texan home football games for the 2020 season:

  • Reserved tickets will not be sold this year.
  • ALL TICKETS WILL BE GENERAL ADMISSION WITH FIRST-COME FIRST-SERVE SEATING.
  • Tickets will be sold each game corresponding to Home Side and Visitor Side. Texan fans, please be aware of which section you are purchasing seats as you will be required to sit in that section. All tickets will be sold online only.

HOME GAME TICKET SALES

  • Monday – Participants' Parents (Limit 4)
    • Participants include: Band, Drill Team, Cheer, Trainers, and Football
  • Tuesday – Season Ticket Holders (Limit 2)
  • Wednesday - Thursday – All Fans and Students (Limit 4)
  • Friday – Remaining General Admission tickets until noon


Monday – Friday til noon - General Admission $6

Everyone above the age of 3 must have a ticket. Passes (District, THSCA, Gold Card, Employees, etc.) will not be honored for admission at the gate. All ticket purchasers are required to self-screen themselves before entering any WISD facility. The screening will occur again at the gate before admittance. There will be no re-entry allowed. All fans are to remain seated at all times unless going to the concession stand or to the restroom. By entering a WISD facility you agree you have answered “YES” to the following statements:

  • I agree to comply with the Governor’s order regarding face coverings and social distancing. (GA-29)
  • I agree to comply with directions from WISD staff (Board policy GKA-Legal/Local)

All stadium visitors ten years and older must wear masks at all times within the stadium. Fans are expected to remain social distanced (6 ft). UIL is reminding schools that it is crucial to follow the COVID-19 Risk Mitigation Guidelines so we can continue to offer the opportunity for students to compete in UIL activities this year. Any allegations of not following COVID-19 Risk Mitigation guidelines will be handled in the same manner as other UIL violations and may result from simple reprimands to shutting down sports.
