The cross examination team of Bober and McKinney, which placed 6th at last year's UIL State meet in the same event, has already qualified for the Texas Forensics Association (TFA) State meet as a result of the two first-place finishes. Competitors who advance to the top-six at a regular season tournament receive points based off of their placings. Once students have 10 points they qualify for TFA State. The duo of Bober/McKinney has accrued 12 points after only two tournaments.
