Vehicle Parade for WHS Class of 2020 Planned for Thursday, May 21

On Thursday, May 21 a vehicle parade honoring the Wimberley High School graduating class of 2020 will be held throughout Wimberley. The parade is being organized by parents of seniors and will follow a route that includes visits to all four WISD campuses and through town. Spectators will be able to park their vehicles at many places along the route to cheer on the senior class.
The parade is scheduled to follow this route:
8:30 a.m. - Participating students gather at the WISD Baseball/Softball fields
9:00 a.m. - Jacob's Well Elementary back loop
9:15 a.m. - Wimberley High School main parking lot
9:25 a.m. - Danforth Junior High main parking lot
Parade will follow FM 2325 to Green Acres Dr.
9:35 a.m. - Scudder Primary School main parking lot
Parade will go back up Green Acres Dr. to FM 2325 and head through Wimberley to Old Kyle Road. From Old Kyle Road the parade will turn left on Winters Mill Parkway and end at the intersection of Winters Mill and RR 12.
County constables will be assisting with the parade, but traffic will not be stopped, so please exercise caution if you park off the road to watch the parade.
