Texan Swimmers Compete at District and Regional Meets
January 30, 2023
The Wimberley HS Swimming and Diving team competed at the District 14-4A meet on Jan. 20th and came away with multiple regional qualifiers. For the first time, Wimberley athletes competed only against swimmers from similar-sized schools, instead of a mix of 5A and 4A teams. District 14-4A is made up of Wimberley, Canyon Lake, Davenport, La Grange, Columbus, Hallettsville, Buda Live Oak, and the Texas School for the Blind.
The six top individual swimmers, divers, and relay teams from each event advanced to the UIL Region IV-4A Championships which will be on Jan 27-28 at the Southwest ISD Aquatic Center in San Antonio.
