Former Wimberley Lady Texan Volleyball Coach Lee Grisham has been inducted into the Texas Girls Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
The 2020 inductee led the Lady Texans to nine state tournament appearances and six state championships during his 15 seasons in Wimberley from 1996-2010, compiling a 495-111 overall record (.816 winning percentage). Wimberley won district titles in Grisham's final 14 seasons at the school. Over his entire career Grisham had a record of 559 wins and 183 losses.
Currently Grisham works as the Assistant Executive Director for the TGCA. He is joined in the 2020 Hall of Fame class by retired Pflugerville High School basketball coach Nancy Walling and Pearland High School softball coach Laneigh Clark.
Grisham and the other inductees will be honored during ceremonies scheduled for July 6 at the TGCA’s convention in Arlington.
