Board Meetings, Agendas and Minutes

  • The regular business meetings of the Board of Trustees are open to the public and are usually scheduled every third Monday of the month at 6 p.m. at the WISD Administration Building unless indicated otherwise as posted on the agenda. Occasionally, a regular meeting date is changed, or a special meeting is called; but in all cases notice is given. In crisis situations where immediate action is required, Texas law allows the Board to call an emergency meeting.

    In accordance with the Texas Open Meeting Law, the Board has the privilege of meeting privately in a closed meeting to discuss matters related to personnel, student discipline, security, land acquisition or to consult with legal counsel. However, no action may be taken in closed session.

    Please remember Non-agenda public comment items are only scheduled for the regular meetings of the Board.   The Board will be welcoming of non-agenda public comments at the Regular meetings. On any special called meeting, public comments are limited to agenda items only.  Following current protocol at all WISD facilities, face coverings are optional at the WISD Administration building and in the board room.

    Regular Meeting Date Changes for 2021-2022 school year:

    December 20, 2021 is changed to December 13, 2021 due to winter break

    January 17, 2022 is changed to January 24, 2022 due to holiday

    February 21, 2022 is changed to February 28, 2022 due to holiday

    April 18, 2022 is changed to April 25, 2022 due to holiday 

     

    Concerning the Wimberley ISD Board of Trustees' Regular meetings:

    Wimberley ISD Board of Trustees meetings are open to in-person attendance. Following current protocol at all WISD facilities, face coverings are optional at the WISD Administration building and in the board room. Persons who wish to present public comments must sign in prior to meeting start;and list his/her name; name of the group that he/she represents; and agenda item. All public comment must be presented in person. An audio recording of the public portion(s) of the meeting will be posted on the WISD website on the day following the meeting.
