Hi!  My name is Melissa Ivicic and this will be my 16th year of teaching, but my first year at W.I.S.D.  I am so excited to begin teaching in the community that I was born and raised in!  I graduated from Wimberley High School after attending Wimberley schools from Kindergarten through 12th grade.  I was fortunate to continue my education by receiving a Bachelor's Degree from the University of St.Thomas and a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Texas State University.

My husband, Justin and I, live in Wimberley with our 14 year old son, Basil, and our 9 year old daughter, Grace.  I am very grateful to be raising them in such a supportive and close-knit community.

I am so excited about joining the 5th grade team at Jacob's Well Elementary School.  I will be teaching English Language Arts and Social Studies.  I have a passion for literacy and U.S. History and I look forward to an exciting year of growing and learning.
