Hays County Emergency Rental Assistance Program
COVID-19 has created many hardships for our community. And while it has affected all of us in some way, it has been especially difficult for those experiencing financial stress because of the pandemic. We are reaching out to let our community know about the Hays County Emergency Rental Assistance Program. If you or someone you know is a renter who has lost income due to the pandemic and is at risk of being late with rent or utilities, we encourage you to apply. The first step is registering and starting an application by visiting: https://era.co.hays.tx.us
Applicants must be at last 18 years of age and financially responsible for paying rent. Please apply early so you can complete the application on time. If you have questions, please reach out to Hays County at ERAP@co.hays.tx.us or call 512-878-6685.

The Barnabas Connection's Back to School Fiesta
Registration is now open for the Barnabas Connection's Back to School Fiesta Program. If your family needs financial assistance with school supplies for the 2022-23 school year please fill out the registration form online here or printable versions here: (English | Spanish) before July 1st. You can also call 512-842-9674. The distribution event is planned for August 13th at the new Barnabas office at 101 West Spoke Hill Rd in Wimberley.
Barnabas Connection is also hosting its 2nd Annual Wimberley Community Back-to-School Celebration event on Saturday, August 13 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Cypress Creek Church (211 Stillwater Rd.) The free event will have lunch, games, snow cones, door prizes, and information about family resources from community agencies.
