Degrees and Certifications:

William "Bo" Bowman

Hello everyone, My name is Mr. Bowman and I am very excited to begin my first year as a Wimberley High School teacher.  I am coming to WHS with 22 years of teaching experience.  My first fifteen years were spent teaching middle school students with the Houston Independent School District.  For the last seven years, I have taught at the high school level for the Katherine Anne Porter School here in Wimberley, Texas.  I moved to Wimberley in 2014 along with my wife and daughters and we all really love living here.  I even got to serve for a term on the Wimberley City Council.

After graduating from high school in Kingwood, Texas, I had the opprtunity to work on carrier-based aircraft in the United States Navy.  When my military service was complete, I was able to obtain a degree in Political Science from Baylor University in Waco, Texas.  I later completed my teacher certification process at Southwest Texas State University (Texas State).  In 2006, I received a law degree from South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas.  In addition to holding a teacher's certification, I have been licensed to practice law in the state of Texas since 2008.
