Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Yvette Sutten

I am in my 16th year of teaching Health Science.  This is my fourth year at Wimberley.  When I graduated from high school, I wanted to be a coach.  I went to  Oklahoma City University, where I was privileged to play basketball and softball while earning a degree in psychology.  I then joined the USMC and fell in love with jets and traveling.  I also found my passion for medicine when I was involved in a few medical flights.  When I got out of the USMC, I went back and earned my degree in Respiratory Therapy from Texas State University.  I worked for the Dell's Childrens hospital and Brackenridge ICU/ER pediatric critical care transport team.  I loved it but that teaching thing kept coming up.  That brought me to teaching Health Science.  I love teaching future medical professionals!  Your child will learn what it means to be a medical professional, what it takes to succeed, and hopefully leave this class knowing that they are our future!  For me,  my dream is to travel around the world, shoot hoops on every continent and eat all the different foods I can.  I am looking forward to a GREAT year!  GO TEXANS
