• The Mission of the Wimberley Education Foundation is to generate and distribute resources to or on behalf of the Wimberley Independent School District to enrich teaching, inspire learning and maximize opportunities needed to meet the District’s stated mission and promote excellence in education for all students.
    The Foundation will achieve its mission by directing resources toward the following goals:

    • Encourage all students to work to their highest potential
    • Support staff for innovative efforts
    • Recognize staff for exemplary teaching
    • Build community awareness for the Wimberley Education Foundation
    • Inspire parents and community to participate with the school district in enriching education
  • wef bash 23The 2023 Community Bash is scheduled for September 8 at Waters Point (13401 Ranch Road 12, Wimberley). Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and live music featuring the Jesse Stratton Band is scheduled for 7-10 p.m. In addition to food and drinks, there will be a silent and live auction and raffle opportunities.

     

    Tickets are $50 in advance and $70 at the door. This is a 21-year-old and up event. Please see sponsorship opportunities for the Bash below.

    Sponsorship for the Annual Community Bash is now open through August 25, 2023 to be included in the publicity.  We accept sponsorship until the day of the event 9-8-23.

    Since 2006, WEF has funded more than $403,288 in grants for 323+ classroom projects.
