Hello! I am Jessica Payne the school nurse at Danforth Jr High School. I joined WISD in the fall of 2020. I grew up in Wimberley and graduated from WISD. I live here in Wimberley with my husband and three kids who also attend Wimberley schools. I graduated from Georgia Highlands College with my nursing degree in 2008. My nursing background includes Pediatric Emergency and Trauma, Labor and Delivery, and Orthopedics/ Medical Surgical. I am thrilled to be back here and helping keep the Jr high healthy.

*If your child has a medical condition, please let the nurse be aware of anything that may help with continuation of care for your student while at school.

*If you would like your student to take medication while at school, please download or pick up a medication form from our schools and fill it out and bring in the medication with their first and last name written on it.

*Please see the Texas Department of Health required immunizations under forms for new student required immunizations and for 7th grade immunization boosters. Remember to send in a copy of immunization records to the school nurse anytime your student receives them or your renewed affidavit every 2 years.
