Jill Jacobs, Counselor

I am beyond thrilled to be returning to Wimberley to serve as the counselor for Jacobs Well Elementary!  I am excited to work with the faculty and parents of this great community.  But most importantly, I look forward to working with the wonderful students of JWE.  Helping students reach their full potential while enjoying their educational experience is why I choose this rewarding profession.

I come from a family of educators, so education has always been an important part of my life from a very young age.  I received my Bachelor's degree in 2001 and my Master's degree in 2003 from Angelo State University.  I completed my counseling certification in 2008, and my administrative certification in 2011.  My career in education began in 2002 and, over the past 18 years, I have served as a teacher, a coach, and a counselor for students of all ages in Wimberley, Marble Falls, Lake Travis, and Dripping Springs.

My husband, Brad, is a teacher at Live Oak Leadership Academy. I always told my husband that I would love to raise our children in Wimberley and we are so excited to get that opportunity.  We have a full house of Wimberley Texans - two boys that attend Wimberley High School, Maverick, 16, Atlas, 14, a daughter, Case, 5, who attends Blue Hole Primary, and Boone, 4, attends The Tree House.  I love spending time with my family. When we are not at school or watching kids' sporting events, we love camping, fishing, traveling, and any other outdoor activity.

I look forward to working with the Wimberley community again!  If I can be of assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me.
