Prior to becoming an elementary school teacher, I used my bachelor's degree to enter the marketing field.  I enjoyed that vocation for over twelve years but wanted a change.  So I went back to school to earn my master's degree at Texas State University.

Fifth grade was my home for 17 years, but I have recently joined JWE's fourth grade team.  I have been teaching at WISD since 2001 and truly enjoy spending my day with children.  There is no other job on the planet more rewarding, especially when I hear those words, "Oh, now I get it!"
