Ms. Johnna Beth Dennis - 4th
Hello. Wimberley ISD is a great place to bring your kids. This is my twenty-sixth year teaching in the district. I love it here. I taught second grade for seven years, moved to fourth grade for eleven years, changed to fifth grade for four years, taught technology for two years, moved to third grade for one year, and this year I am back in fourth grade. It's been nice to be back in a familiar grade.
I was born and raised in Grayson County and went to school in Whitesboro, Texas. My three older brothers and I were the fifth generations raised on our family's farm. Both of our parents were teachers and ranchers/farmers. Life on a farm was a wonderful way to be raised.
I received my undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University and my graduate degree from Southwest Texas State University. Both degrees are in education.
I love the community of Wimberley. It's actually the third largest place I have ever lived. (College Station is the largest. San Marcos is the second largest.)
