Miss Marie Bernick
I have been teaching for 14 years and this is my 10th year at Danforth Jr. High. I was born and raised in Brenham, Texas, where I attended Blinn College. I graduated from Texas State University (San Marcos) in December 2007. I have taught students of all ages, from Pre-K through age 22. What I love most about DJH is how truly dedicated all the administration, teachers, staff, and students are to making each and every day better than the one before.
I am a certified bowling Coach and a track/field Volunteer for Special Olympics Texas. WISD has an amazing, growing delegation of coaches, volunteers, athletes, families, and other supporters! Wimberley ISD is a Unified Sports delegation.
At home I have 3 dogs, Watson, Penny, and Lucy, and a cat, Bob. When I'm not teaching I enjoy cooking new recipes and watching cooking shows or true crime shows on TV.
