Mr. Robert Landauer

I currently teach Honors Algebra II and AP Calculus. I have a love for all things math and science, and it's my goal in life to help students see the world through physics-colored lenses.

In my days as a student, I was an avid music-lover, including being a member of the Longhorn Band. These days, I'm known as a competitive endurance runner, having won or set course records in over a dozen marathons and ultramarathons. Each summer, I embark on a long-distance hiking or biking trip. My longest bike tour went from Deadhorse, AK to Ushuaia, ARG.

If you see me running or biking around town, give me a wave!

  • High school students work 60-80 hours/week at a job they didn't pick, probably don't like, and can't quit. For this, they receive no wages, health care, or retirement plan. The least I can do is make sure they leave with a valuable, meaningful education.

I consider myself fortunate to have an occupation in which I get to work with brilliant young men and women every day, help people learn things, and make the world a smarter place. How cool is that?
