Hello! ¡Hola! This is my 25th year to teach at Wimberley High School. I would like to take this time to introduce myself to you. Originally I am from Beaumont, located in southeast Texas. I began my undergraduate work at Lamar University. When my husband and I married we moved to the Virgin Islands where I attended the University of the V.I.’s. We moved to Memphis, Tennessee when our first child was born. I attended Memphis State University, where I obtained most of my Spanish courses. However we had to get back to our native land. Having vacationed in San Marcos area several times, we decided to move here. Southwest Texas University is where I completed the remainder of my courses. I have a degree and teacher certification in Spanish and a minor in Sociology. I am a native speaker and have traveled to various parts of Mexico.
Feel free to call me and visit our class any time. I look forward to meeting you in the near future.
