Student Support Services

WISD Student Support Services helps support and grow student success through Comprehensive School Counseling programs at each campus, following the latest edition of the Texas Model for Comprehensive School Counseling Programs. Student Support Services facilitates the WHS Wellness Center , Multi-Tiered Systems of Support at each campus (MTSS), and the T.E.X.A.N. Roots Character Traits Curriculum PK-12 to promote the success and well-being of all WISD students.

Lori Pharis, Director of Student Support Services

Lori Pharis served as a WISD teacher and Campus Counselor prior to serving as Director of Student Support Services.  Lori has over 20 years of experience in education and is passionate about supporting WISD students through campus counselors and their comprehensive counseling programs, working closely with WISD Director of Safety, Roz Simmons, the WHS Wellness Center Program, and the WISD Character Traits education program, T.E.X.A.N. Roots.

Mrs. Pharis is one of Wimberley ISD’s Title IX administrators that attended Eichelbaum Wardell Hansen Powell & Muñoz P.C.’s “2025 Texas Title IX Administrator Conference.” Materials from this conference in compliance with Section 106.45(b)(10)(i)(D) of the regulations can be found here.
