Communications

The Communications Office serves to build and maintain strong, positive relationships with the Wimberley Valley community through various communications efforts that support the vision, mission and strategic goals of Wimberley ISD. The office does this by developing and fostering effective two-way communication between WISD and its internal and external audiences by promoting district initiatives, services, events, activities, student achievement, and distributing timely information. In addition, the Communications Director provides expertise and services that improve the quality and effectiveness of WISD's projects and programs.

To accomplish these tasks the office utilizes several outlets, including the district website, Blackboard School Messenger (email updates), and social media accounts FacebookXInstagram, and YouTube

All media-related requests should be made through the Communications Director at allen.bruggman@wimberleyisd.net or 512.847.2414.
