Senate Bill 12 Compliance

Wimberley ISD is committed to compliance with Senate Bill 12 of the 89th Texas Legislature and all applicable requirements of the Texas Education Code.

In accordance with Texas Education Code §§ 11.005 and 28.0022, Wimberley ISD employees are required to comply with state law and District policies and procedures regarding the prohibition of certain diversity, equity, and inclusion duties and applicable instructional requirements and prohibitions.

District employees have been provided notice of these requirements and are responsible for reviewing and complying with applicable Wimberley ISD Board policies, administrative procedures, and employee expectations.
