• Wimberley Independent School District (WISD) provides benefits to all full-time employees upon employment with no waiting period (the first of the month following the start date). The District contributes $300.00 towards the cost of health insurance and offers $20,000 of life insurance at no cost to the employee.

    Benefit enrollment will take place during the group new hire orientation with representatives attending and reviewing the many choices available to you; vision, dental, accident insurance, etc. 

    All employees part-time, substitutes and full-time employees are required to log-in and accept and/or decline benefits annually.
