    Wimberley Independent School District (WISD) provides benefits to all full-time employees upon employment with no waiting period (with the benefits being effective, the first of the month following the start date). The District contributes $300.00 towards the cost of health insurance and offers $20,000 of life insurance at no cost to the employee.

    Benefit enrollment will take place during the group new hire orientation with representatives attending and reviewing the many choices available to you; vision, dental, accident insurance, etc.   Annual enrollment takes places from July through August for all eligible employees to makes changes to their benefits and personal information. 

    Please be sure to check your benefits as changes cannot be made once benefit enrollment closes (unless you have a qualifying event).

    Please take a moment to review the on-line resources at Benefits where you will select Wimberley ISD from the drop down menu.  You are able to utilize the username and password you created during open enrollment throughout the year to view your current benefits elect for the plan year.  However, you are not able to make changes.

    You may view the health insurance plan options, displaying the deductibles, out-of-pocket expenses, as well as prescription drug information.
