Wimberley High School serves more than 815 students in 9th-12th grade who are involved in a variety of academic and extracurricular activities. The hallmark of WHS is a well-rounded education—students are surrounded by teachers, parents and administrators who challenge them to participate in as many teams, clubs and activities as possible. Along with a foundation in innovative curriculum and advanced placement courses, WHS offers career and technical education classes which culminate in a one-of-a-kind practicum experience. Among the honors: Johnny Ball named Offensive MVP; Lane Patek named Defensive MVP; Cody Stoever was Newcomer of the Year; and Caden Romo was OL of the Year.

WHS students have been named to either the THSCA or TGCA (or both) Academic All-State teams for their respective sports.

Texan Football Team Finishes Season as State Runner-Up
The Texans tied the school record with 15 wins in 2022, losing only in the state championship game to Carthage.
