Wimberley Independent School District is self-insured for Workers' Compensation claims. Texas Association of School Boards is the districts's claims administrator for Workers' Compensation claims. The district is committed to the health and safety of all employees in the workplace. Wimberley ISD has contracted with TASB to manage the health care and treatment you may receive if you are injured.
A First Report of Injury must be filed once employee reports or campus is made aware of any on the job injury, illness or incident. Group Insurance does not cover medical treatment for compensable workers’ compensation injury. Employees should not pay for medical treatment for a workers’ compensation injury.
